Gold on Sterling Silver
| 10kt gold sheet (.25 to.40mm thick) is fused to sterling silver sheet (1.00-2.5mm thick). Then, it is milled and rolled out to an overall thickness of .5mm -1.25mm. The desired shape is cut from this newly made stock. |
| This above process makes the gold on silver a deeper
layer of metal and is therefore, longer lasting than gold-plate or even gold-fill. Canadian gold and silver are used. |
